Pimpri Chinchwad University (PCU) is a private state university established under the Government of Maharashtra Act No. V of 2023, run by the Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust (PCET) — the same education group behind PCCOE, with a legacy dating to 1990. PCU is recognised by the UGC, approved by AICTE, holds a QS I-Gauge Silver rating, and was placed among Outlook's "Top Emerging Universities in India."
The university sits on a green 30-acre campus at Sate, Maval (PMRDA), Pune, and offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes across eight schools — with B.Tech and MBA as its flagship offerings.
